DAY 6 – A FATHER WHO SEES AND HEARS

For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are open to their prayer… 1 Peter 3:12

For Dad: 

Father, Your word teaches us that Your eyes are focused upon and attentive to Your own. Remind Dad today that Your attention is focused on the lives of Your children and You are intensely caring for him.  Thank You that he lives under the watchful care of You, Heavenly Father.  Thank you, O God, that You never sleep, nor slumber, that You are always alert, loving and listening to him.  Help him to continue to press into You today and to walk in obedience to You.  I pray that, like Noah, he will find grace in Your eyes, Lord! In Jesus’ Name, Amen

For Grandfather:

Father, I pray today that my Grandfather will stand in Your righteousness and that his confidence is in Your complete work on the cross. Would You remind him today that Your eyes are focused upon and attentive to him? Thank You for Your constant care for him.  Thank You that he lives under Your watchful care, Heavenly Father.  I pray he would be aware today that You never sleep, nor slumber and that You are always caring intensely for him.  Help him to be a man of continual prayer.  In Jesus’ Name, Amen

For Children and Grandchildren

Father, I pray for my children and grandchildren to know that Your eyes are focused upon and attentive to them.  You are intensely caring for Your children at all times.  You never sleep, nor slumber and You are always alert. Thank you that I have full confidence that they live under the watchful care of You, Heavenly Father.  Teach them that because You are always alert and attentive they can talk with You at all times. I pray they will become men and women of prayer!  In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
