Here are a few links to some websites I think you will really love.
This first one is the website of Alistair Begg’s ministry, “Truth for Life” - https://www.truthforlife.org/
This website has a very large library of teaching which is both topical, such as “How can I be saved?” and many studies on specific Bible passages or books of the Bible. There are also blogs and recorded broadcasts, as well as a book store from which one can order CD’s and books. All of the audios are free, however, and can be streamed or downloaded. I especially like Alistair as he is very entertaining and makes the Bible relevant to modern times and has a broad appeal to both young and older audiences. In my opinion he is one of the most gifted teachers of the Bible and the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Another wonderful resource is John MacArthur’s “Grace to You – Unleashing God’s Truth, One Verse at a Time” - https://www.gty.org/
This website also has a very large library of sermons, devotionals and an active blog. Much of the material is available as text or MP3 which can be download or streamed. There are many folks who feel that John may be the best expositor of scripture alive today. So if you have a relatively straight forward question like “How Should I Pray?”, to a deep scriptural explanation of “How We Can Have Assurance of Heaven?”, John’s studies are easy to understand and very encouraging. Do spend time on “Grace to You” and I’m sure you will be blessed.
For anyone wanting to read through the entire Bible or just have a certain book explained, let me recommend J. Vernon McGee’s “Thru the Bible” http://ttb.org/programs/the-5-year-study/study-contents
When I heard about Dr. McGee’s Thu the Bible audios, I wanted 1) to know what God intended me to know about Him, 2) to be sure that I was saved and if not, how I might be, and 3) to have a more intimate relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I was certainly not disappointed. Dr. McGee’s Thru the Bible Ministry reaches every nation on earth in over 100 languages. This testifies to the surpassing power of God at work, using simple jars of clay like Dr. McGee and you and me. You can download the MP3’s, listen on Facebook or online.
Another wonderful resource is the teaching fellowship of R.C. Sproul, a life-long faithful servant of Christ, prolific writer and teacher - http://www.ligonier.org/learn/series/
Dr. Sproul shares his deep knowledge of the Bible and Theology and helps us see the relevance and depth of it for us where we are today. The lessons are largely topical as opposed to going through the Bible book by book. Dr. Sproul is very clear and he does a great job of plumbing the depths of Scripture. I encourage you to check out some of the topics that available for downloading or streaming at no cost.
